Week One..Leanness Lifestyle

Week One is already complete of bootcamp. It went by too quickly. This 5 week camp is going to whizzz by.

As I mentioned, Coach Dave suggested we buy new digital scales prior to bootcamp. Mine was SIX pounds heavier than my old scale. My weight last Wednesday when I began LL at 152.5 pounds. Ick. Today I'm at 149.5. Not ick. 3 pound loss. Just as depicted on my LA tool. For week two I should lose 1.5 pounds. I need to get 84 exercise minutes in a day and will be doing a zig zag of 1250-1700 calories each day.

Today I had the day off from work. I and Topaz went out for a 7 mile run. At 8 degrees F and a 30 mph wind, it really sucked. Do I get extra cardio minutes for wind resistance? I didn't think so. I then went off to the gym to lift legs. Good lord, I'm sore. I used the Workout Professor to create a leg workout for me. This is what I did:

Leg Extensions: 120x12x5
Barbell Free Standing Back Squat: 65x12x5
Leg Press: 105x12x5
Lying Leg Curls: 60x12x5
Standing Calf Raises: 90x12x5

I could barely walk down the stairs out of the gym. Tomorrow's AM treadmill run ought to be interesting...

Hey Julie, I am not checking in at BFLers but I still love to watch your progress. The weight loss is awesome so keep it up. Jenna
