Oh yeah, it happened. The chocolate. The chocolate that I haven't had to eat in months and months. Months and months that I haven't even craved it. The sugar monster has been asleep for a long time. I woke her up today. I sure did.

After Troy and I arrived home he poured all of his candy onto the kitchen table and began to sort it out. Three Muskateers here, Reeses in this pile, Hersheys over here, 10 Twix bars over there, Snickers here and Whoppers over there.

I was broiling a No Name Salmon steak and pan frying some asparagus. I hadn't eaten dinner yet. The damn little pop out thingy hadn't told me the salmon was done yet.

I could smell the freaking chocolate, I could hear it. Then I tasted it. Uhhu. The Reeses, the Three Muskateers, the Whoppers. All of them. I ate them all. And then the salmon and asparagus. Good grief.

A few hours later I went off to Run Club. There were 6 of us in the 28F/35 mph wind. Brrr. Soon we were all heated up and running fast. I felt great, full of energy, hell I had just consumed mucho mega carbohydrates and my body knew it, felt it.

The sugar freak awoke. I'll try putting her back to sleep. At least I got a good run in!

You'll get it back under control. This little splurge won't beat Julie B!! You're bigger than that.

You're a disciplined woman and I have no doubt that you will put those temptations to rest pretty quickly. I think you deserve the indulgence.
